Design-A-Week 28: 80’s Style With 09’s Dimensions

19 07 2009

I spent a Sunday morning lounging in bed doodling in my sketchbook and enjoying the art of doing nothing. The good thing about doing nothing is you usually do something, like doodling. I recently rediscovered the fun of colored pencils, so I carried on coloring in PS. After a cup of coffee and some fun with vectors, I ended up with this nifty little doodle. A bit of 80’s style with 21st Century dimensions. It could get expensive when it gets to printing- but I’ll deal with that later.

I cheerfully suggest checking out the rest of the Design-A-Week project over at

Played while posting this post:
Atlas Sound (Feat Noah Lennox) – Walkabout
Feist – Mushaboom (Postal Service Remix)
Free Energy – Free Energy
Weezer – Buddy Holly

You can find more funky tunes in our Playlists section on!
